Claude just changed tax season forever and it's because it can now plug directly into the software that accounting firm already runs. QuickBooks, their practice manager, their tax software, and actually do the work on a schedule [music] instead of just chatting about it. I've been building these systems for firms all year and it's completely changed what a firm can handle without having to hire for. So, I'm going to be showing you how to build it in three levels. Level one, we just get set up and connect Claude to the firm's tools. Level two, we build the agents that kill the tax season grind and so the month end closing, the document intake, and the tax organizer. And level three, we put it all into just one dashboard that your whole team logs into and runs the firm from. Now, even if you've never built anything before, you will be able to follow along because all we're doing is just speaking to Claude. Let's get into it. Now, just some quick context on why this matters is because if you do run a firm, you're living it right now. The grunt work, like the data entry or chasing documents, re-keying numbers between your systems, it eats your most expensive people. You cannot hire your way out because the talent is not there. So, your partners, they are effectively just staying buried in compliance work instead of the advisory work that actually bills three to five times more. [music] AI, it takes the grunt work off the table, so that is effectively solving the hiring problem. That frees your partners, that's the whole game. Now, if you've already tried to fix this with AI, you've probably hit the wall where the market is completely flooded with AI accounting tools [music] that are so sloppy. One does your bookkeeping, another one does your close, one does your work papers, and tools like Doc-it or TrueGage or Digits, they're good at their one thing, but every one of them is its own island. So, your data, it ends up siloed across five different logins and your team's just right back to just copying numbers between tools by hand. This space is just completely cluttered with point solutions. And on top of that, the biggest AI bookkeeper raised $90 million and they shut down this year. The problem was never the AI. It's just that a tool that does one thing cannot run a firm. What we build, it isn't a tool that you bolt on. It sits on top of the software that you already use and it runs the whole process end to end for you. Now, every firm that we do this for, it talked the same way. We do a quick audit that ranks every process by the dollars that it is bleeding, so we know exactly what to build first, and I'm not walking you through that today exactly. I'm just going to be building what we almost always end up installing. I know the first thing in your head, is it safe to just let AI near a tax return? Hold that thought, because there's one rule that we set in the next 60 seconds that makes this whole thing safe, and I'll show you the agent that actually caught a real mistake because of it. So, watch for it. Level one. Now, a firm often runs on three different things. QuickBooks, obviously for their books, and that's most firms where QuickBooks just owns about 80% of this market. A practice manager, and that's just going to be tracking every job. So, different things like Carbon, Canopy, whatever you use. Honestly, a ton of smaller firms that we've worked with just run a spreadsheet, so that's what I'm going to be using here. It's the same idea. And tax software. Now, most firms, they run Drake, and this one's on ProConnect. So, for Claude to actually help, it's going to do need two different things. One, it needs access to all that stuff, and two, it needs the rules for what it is allowed to do. So, it needs the permissions. And access, it's actually way simpler than people think. It's just one real connection, and then the rest is Claude just able to read off of my computer. Let me show you. So, the only real connection that we're going to be utilizing here is QuickBooks. So, I'm going to add it into Claude's settings. We'll pull up our connectors. All we have to do from here is just sign in through Intuit, and then that's the real secure login. So, my password, it's never actually going to be touching Claude. So, we just have to authorize it, and boom, we're connected. Now, everything else Claude is just going to be reading right off of my computer. So, a spreadsheet, and that's the firm's job board, and the folder where the documents land. That's the whole integration people are often scared of. It's just one login and two files. That's about it. Now that I have my connections established, like QuickBooks for example, I'm now inside of Claude Code. I'm just using the IDE Cursor to actually open up Claude Code, but you can also be using the Claude web app. You can use just a browser-based version. Whatever is going to be fine. So, I have created this folder called tax. So, I'm going to actually paste in is to
